Board of Directors – Appointment & Update to Board Positions

Dear RESA Community,

There has been a recent change amongst the Board of Directors. With the resignation of Rita Manachi, the Board has appointed Matt Sheikh to fill the remainder of the term. We thank Rita for her hard work and welcome Matt to the team.

A welcome message from Matt:

I am honored to serve on the RESA board alongside our community members. I hope to make a meaningful contribution during my time on the board and apply my skills to serve our community effectively and help address the issues that matter most to our residents. I look forward to meeting more of our neighbors soon.

Below is an update to the positions of the 2023 Board of Directors:

SJWC Water Main Installation – Updates Week of 9/4

Dear RESA Community,

Below are the dates and locations of the road closures for this week. All other roads are OPEN, including the main thoroughfare.

  • Monday 9/4
    • Roads OPEN, there is NO WORK due to Labor Day.
  • Tuesday 9/5- Thursday 9/7
    • Locust Drive
  • Thursday
    • Madrone/Mary Alice – the main thoroughfare is closed from Nonno’s to the Pavilion. Detour route is outlined below.

Other work this week, but NOT closure:
WVCC will also have a small crew and vac truck on the lower section of the project to begin the slot/pothole phase, affecting Broadway Road, from Virginia Drive to the Pavilion. They plan on starting at Virginia Drive and working their way down the hill. They will have 2 flaggers with this crew to flag one way traffic in areas of the road that are narrower than others.

Office Hours Change to 8/30 and 9/4

Dear RESA Community,

There will be a change for two days of upcoming office hours:

Wednesday 8/30

  • Hours changed to 10:00am-12:30pm (instead of 12:30pm-3:30pm)

Monday 9/4

  • CLOSED for Labor Day
  • We will be open on Tuesday 9/5 from 10:30am-1:30pm to make up for Monday’s hours.

Wednesday 9/6 and beyond, the regular schedule is:
Mondays 10:30 am – 1:30 pm
Wednesdays 12:30 pm – 3:30 pm
