The Santa Clara County Fire Department’s Redwood Station, located here in Redwood Estates, has just received a new water tender to support their firefighting efforts. They are currently training their staff to navigate our mountain communities. A big thanks to the Santa Clara County Fire Department!

The continued lack of rain this winter has significantly increased the fire danger in our mountain communities. It is the time of year to prepare for wildfire season and create defensible space around your home. Not only does this help protect your home in the case of a wildland fire, it also helps protect our community as a whole.
Our next Brush Chipping Day is June 13 at the Pavilion parking lot, from 7:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. Drive-up only; please do not leave piles.
