SJWC Water Main Installation Week of 5/6

Dear RESA Community,

The main thoroughfare throughout RE has CLOSURES this week, with detours affecting Virdelle/Woolaroc. See below.

Monday 5/6:

  • Intersection of Locust Drive/Mountain View Court – OPEN with one-way traffic control flaggers
  • Driveway of SJW station on Locust Drive – OPEN with one-way traffic control flaggers
  • Bayview Drive – OPEN, with small crews working
  • Woolaroc/Virdelle Drive going towards Bayview – SECTION CLOSED with detours in place.

Tuesday 5/7:

  • Woolaroc/Virdelle Drive going towards Santa Ana/Woolaroc intersection – SECTION CLOSED with detours in place.

Wednesday 4/8 and Thursday 4/9:

  • Woolaroc Drive from Bayview to Dorothy Way (detour in place) – ROAD CLOSED.
  • Woolaroc Drive between Dorothy Way and Santa Ana – one-way traffic control.
  • Residents living on Santa Ana will be able to exit up Woolaroc towards Summit.

The main thoroughfare throughout RE is open this upcoming week.

Wednesday 5/1

  • Small clean-up crews will be working throughout all areas of previous work.
  • Expect one-way traffic flaggers.

There is NO other work projected the other days of the week.

Join us, the Santa Clara County Fire Department, and the California Department of Insurance for an in-person wildfire preparedness workshop! This workshop will educate residents on how to prepare and be ready for wildfire, as well as help homeowners navigate the buying, selling, and insuring processes of homes that reside in the wildland urban interface (WUI). Each portion is 30-minutes.
