Here are the updates on the water main installation project within Redwood Estates:
*No Changes* La Verne Drive/Patricia Court: still in progress.
*NEW* Mountain View Court: ROAD CLOSED FROM 8AM-6PM beginning Wed 8/2. Water main installation will begin at the end of Mt. View Ct working towards Locust.
ALL OTHER ROADS are open, including the main thoroughfare.
The following maps outline the roadway work for the week of July 17th – July 20th, 8am-6pm:
Monday July 17th On Monday, all the courts that connect to the closure on Locust Dr will remain closed with limited access (Mt View Ct, Patricia Ct, June Ct, Naomi Ct, Judith Ct)
Monday July 17th – Thursday July 20th Only La Verne Dr is impacted. All the other courts will be opened with access down Locust Dr/Santa Ana Rd for the rest of the week.
The following maps denote where road closures are for the week of 7/10/23.
PLEASE NOTE that if you live on a street that is an off-shoot of the streets in RED, traffic is also affected in your area, so please plan for the roads to be inoperable from 8am-6pm Mon-Thurs.
ROAD CLOSURE MAP 7/10-7/13 Streets Affected: Santa Ana, Locust, June, Mountain View, Locust, Naomi, La Verne, Judith, La Salle, Esther
The following maps and descriptions are for the road closures for Wednesday 7/5, Thursday 7/6, and Mon 7/10:
Mountain View Ct, La Verne Dr, Judith Ct, Patricia Ct.
The following map and description will be from Mon 7/10 – Thurs 7/13, keeping Locust Drive closed down the hill:
Mountain View Ct, La Verne Dr, Judith Ct, Patricia Ct.
A Note from West Valley Construction:
Access will be closed (limited to emergency access) in the red areas; the main vein being Locust Dr all the way down to La Verne. This would mean that residents located above the closure will need to enter and exit via the back way on Summit Rd. Those below the red area would need to enter and exit down Broadway Rd.
We understand this is going to potentially cause some frustration not having the access up and down the hill by way of Locust Dr, but hopefully this map helps you plan and detour different directions depending on where they are located.
WVCC will follow up regardless on Wednesday afternoon with an update so we can keep the days, locations, and durations as clean as possible moving forward.
