SJWC Water Main Installation – Updates Week o f 7/29

Dear RESA Community,

The main thoroughfare is open with detours all days. Hours are 8am-6pm.

Monday 7/29

  • Closure Location: Woolaroc Drive between Dorothy Way and Santa Ana Road.
  • Resident Access: All residents living down Santa Ana Road will be able to exit up towards Summit Road. Residents living within the closure will be able to enter and exit.

Tuesday 7/30 – Thursday 7/1

  • Work Location: Rolling closures starting from the top of the project, where Woolaroc meets Virdelle, ending all the way down to where Bayview meets Santa Ana. Progress on the closures will depend upon how quickly work is progressing, so it will vary each day.
  • Resident Access: Residents should expect roads to be closed through out the project through out each day, however detour signage and traffic control flagmen will be on site to assist with one-way traffic.

Dear RESA Community,

Monday 7/22 & Tuesday 7/23

  • Closure Location: Bayview Drive between Zella Court and Woolaroc Drive.
  • Road Status: Main thoroughfare is OPEN to through traffic utilizing Zella Court as a detour.
  • Resident Access: All residents living within the closure will be able to enter and exit. There may be delays while WVCC crews move/set steel plates to safely get in and out.

Wednesday 7/24

  • Work Area: Bayview Drive between Woolaroc and Dorothy.
  • Closure Locations: 3 locations: (1) intersection of Gloria Court and Bayview Drive, (2) intersection of Bayview Drive and Dorothy Way, and (3) intersection of Woolaroc and Dorothy Way.
  • Detour: A detour route will be implemented via Zella Court.
  • Resident Access: All residents living within the closure will be able to enter and exit.

Thursday 7/25

  • Work Area: Woolaroc Drive between Bayview Drive and Dorothy Way.
  • Closure Locations: 3 locations: (1) intersection of Bayview Drive and Woolaroc Drive, (2) Intersection of Woolaroc Drive and Dorothy Way, and (3) Intersection of Santa Ana Road and Woolaroc Drive.
  • Resident Access: Residents living on Santa Ana Road will be able to exit up towards Summit. Residents living within the closure will be able to enter and exit.

SJWC Water Main Installation – Updates Week of 7/15

Dear RESA Community, 

The main thoroughfare in RE is CLOSED Monday & Tuesday and OPEN on Wednesday, CLOSED on Thursday. Hours are effective 8am-6pm.

Mon 7/15 – Tues 7/16

  • Closure Location: Santa Ana is closed immediately after its intersection with Sylvan Court, continuing down Santa Ana until immediately after its intersection with Bayview (same closure as Thursday 7/11).
  • Residents living on Lenore Court and Santa Ana Road will be able to exit down Locust Drive towards the general store.
  • Residents living on Eileen Ct will be able to exit on Bayview Drive to Summit Rd.
  • Residents living on Santa Ana Rd will be able to exit towards Woolaroc Drive to Summit Rd.

Wed 7/17

  • Closure Location: Lenore Court (closed entirely).
  • Main thoroughfare is OPEN, however, there will be points during the day where there will be traffic flaggers on Santa Ana and Lenore if equipment machines need to turn around, causing a slight delay.

Thursday 7/18

  • Closure Location: The roadway is closed from the intersection of Zella/Bayview, where Santa Ana meets Bayview, through Lenore/Santa Ana.
  • Main Thoroughfare: is CLOSED.
  • Residents living on Santa Ana and Eileen will be able to get in and out of their homes, however, please allot extra time for crews to put steel plates to drive over.

Pedestrian traffic through the work area will not be allowed each day due to safety concerns. Residents are urged to park outside of the closure zone to avoid delays.

SJWC Water Main Installation – Week of 7/8

Dear RESA Community, 

The main thoroughfare in RE is CLOSED this next week. Hours are effective 8am-6pm.

Mon 7/8 – Wed 7/10

  • Closure Location: Bayview Drive is closed immediately after its intersection with Santa Ana, all the way down to right before Naomi Court.
  • Residents living Naomi Ct will be able exit down Locust Drive towards the general store.
  • Residents living on Lenore Ct we be able to exit on Bayview Drive to Summit Rd. 

Thurs 7/11

  • Closure Location: Santa Ana is closed immediately after its intersection with Sylvan Court, continuing down Santa Ana until immediately after its intersection with Bayview.
  • Residents living on Lenore Court and Santa Ana Road (Lower) will be able to exit down Locust Drive towards the general store.
  • Residents living on Eileen Ct will be able to exit on Bayview Drive to Summit Rd.
  • Residents living on Santa Ana Rd (Upper) will be able to exit towards Woolaroc Drive to Summit Rd.

Pedestrian traffic through the work area will not be allowed each day due to safety concerns. WVCC will work with residents who need to get in and out of their home within the closure area, but are urged to park outside of the closure zone to avoid delays. For those living in the work area (marked in orange above), the street is fully closed and you will need to enter/exit before 8am and after 6pm.
