2026 Spring Chipping Depot @ the Pavilion

The Santa Clara County FireSafe Council is funding a drive-up brush chipping program here at the Redwood Estates Pavilion. This program will NOT be driving through the community.

Saturday, May 2nd, 2026, 7:00am-3:30pm (time subject to change)

Materials Accepted:

  • Debris less than twenty inches (20”) in diameter and less than four feet (4’) in length

Materials Not Accepted:

  • Debris more than twenty inches (20”) in diameter
  • Debris longer than four feet (4’) in length
  • Root balls with soil
  • Vines (e.g., ivy, poison oak, blackberries)
  • Leaves
  • Construction material (dimensional lumber)
  • Wood fencing

Directions:

  • The tree service staff will direct you to the available chipper.
  • Please untie your debris prior to backing to the chipper.
  • Please stay inside your vehicle while tree service staff are chipping your debris.

Note: Any debris deemed unsafe for the program will not be chipped and left in the members vehicle. 

Volunteers Needed:

  • Santa Clara County FireSafe Council is requesting that RESA arrange community volunteers to assist in managing these two events. 
  • Volunteers will assist in traffic control and recording the number of vehicles / loads delivered each day.

RESA Bingo at the Pavilion

FREE PLAY

  • When: 1:00pm – 2:30pm
  • Cost: Free!
  • Prizes: Your chance to score a gift card to popular dining and retail stores!

PAY-TO-PLAY

  • When: 2:30pm – 4:00pm
  • Details:
    • Member pays $1 to get one card for a single round of bingo. Limit 2 cards per round.
    • Winner of that bingo round gets the cumulative total of the entry fees per that specific round.
    • Each round is played separately with its own fee and own winner.
    • Cash only. 

FOOD & DRINK

  • RESA will provide water and some light snacks.
  • Pizzeria Vittoria will also be on site providing beverages (other than water) and their signature dishes for purchase.
