The main thoroughfare in Redwood Estates has detours and closures each day below. Please see each day for specificities.

Monday (11/18):

• Work Location: Intersection of Dorothy/Woolaroc and on Bayview Drive between Woolaroc and Gloria Court.
• Road Status: The road will be closed at each of these locations throughout the day. Detour routes will be set up to help guide the community around our work areas.

Tuesday (11/19): WATER SHUTDOWN DAY 9am-3pm

• Work Area 1: Intersection of Woolaroc/Dorothy/Santa Ana.
  • Road Status: This intersection will be closed to traffic. Residents living below Woolaroc will be able to exit via Summit.
• Work Area 2: Bayview Drive between Woolaroc and Gloria.
  • Road Status: A detour will be placed via Zella Court to detour our work area.
• Areas Affected: See map below
• Notification: doorhangers were distributed Friday to the houses that are believed to be affected.

Wednesday (11/20) – Thursday (11/21):

• WVCC Will be on site performing clean up throughout the entire project.
• They do not anticipate hard road closures these days. Residents should anticipate a delay when driving passed our work.

Dear RESA Community,

The main thoroughfare in Redwood Estates is open with detours.

Monday (11/11):

• Water Switching Services: WVCC will have a small crew on site finishing switching old services to the new water service. WVCC will knock and notify residents. Outage during this time for ~ 10-20 minutes.
• Road Status: No roads will be closed this day. Residents may experience a small delay when encountering our work trucks throughout the neighborhood.

Tuesday (11/12):

• Work Location 1: Intersection of Woolaroc/Virdelle/Summit.
  • Road Status: Residents should anticipate one way traffic at this location.
• Work Location 2: Santa Ana Road in front of Naomi Court.
  • Road Status: The road will be closed to through traffic when the crew is working in this location. Traffic control flaggers will be on site to help detour residents around this work.

Wednesday (11/13): **WATER SHUTDOWN DAY 9AM – 3PM**

• Work Areas:
  • Intersection of Woolaroc/Virdelle/Summit.
  • Intersection of Fern Ave and Bayview Drive.
  • Santa Ana Road (near Naomi Court).
  • Locust Water Station Driveway.
  • Mc Luckie Road at the Bayview Reservoir Station.
• Road Status: All intersections above are CLOSED to through traffic. However, flaggers will help residents living in or on these areas to get in and out of their homes. Expect delays.

• Notifications: WVCC will provide doorhangers to all homes that they believe will be affected. If there is a gate on the home, they will hang it on the gate.

Thursday (11/14):

• Work Location 1: Bayview Drive between Woolaroc and Gloria Court.
  • Road Status: The road will be shutdown to through traffic on this day. The detour route will be around the work via Zella Court.
• Work Location 2: Intersection of Woolaroc and Dorothy **NEW**
  • Road Status: Intersection will be CLOSED and CONED OFF for a few hours during the day (time TBD).

The Redwood Estates main thoroughfare is open this week.

Monday (11/4):

• Work Section: Santa Ana Road where it meets with Bayview Drive (in red above in the map).
• Road Status: The road will be closed to through traffic and residents living on that section of the street through out the day. WVCC will have flaggers on site to help pedestrian traffic.
• Water Switching Services: will be taking place this day. See asterisk below.

Tuesday (11/5)

• Work Section: Santa Ana Road where it meets with Bayview Drive (in red above in the map).
• Road Status: The road will NOT be closed to through traffic this day. However, the residents living on this road should anticipate work truck traffic.
• Water Switching Services: will be taking place this day. See asterisk below.

Wednesday (11/6):

• Work Section 1: Santa Ana Road where it meets with Bayview Drive (in red above in the map).
  • Road Status: The road will NOT be closed to through traffic this day. However, the residents living on this road should anticipate work truck traffic.
• Work Section 2: Intersection of Bayview and Dorothy.
  • Road Status: Road will have rolling closures throughout the day. Flaggers will control traffic around the detour.
• Water Switching Services: will be taking place this day. See asterisk below.

Thursday (11/7):

• Work Site 1: Intersection of Woolaroc/Dorothy/Santa Ana Road.
  • Road Status: The road will be closed to through traffic. Residents living down Santa Ana will be able to exit.
• Work Site 2: Intersection of Virdelle and Woolaroc/Summit.
  • Road Status: Traffic control flagman will be able to flag one-way traffic around this work area.
• WVCC Will continue to switch water services over.  See below.

**Water Switching Services: WVCC will have a small crew going to each house and removing the old water service connection from their meter and connecting the new water service. The WVCC crew will knock on the door of the house prior to the switch over (10-20 minute outage). Once the new service is connected, the crew will go to the exterior hose spigot on the house and flush air out of the water line. This work will not require road closures. Residents may experience delays when passing where the crews will be working.

Updates for Thursday will be sent out on Wednesday evening.
