Hello RESA Community,
I would like to share that after 25-years of service, our Operations Manager, Jeff Bates, has decided to retire. We thank Jeff for his dedication to maintaining our roads, parks, and Pavilion including the time he has volunteered to lend a helping hand in the community during his tenure. If you would like to wish Jeff well and catch his next “go” at claiming the “best cannonball splash” title, please attend the RESA Pool Party in July. Of course, Board of Director Meetings are also an excellent time to catch Jeff and connect with all Board Members, as well!
During this transition period, I am pleased to announce we have Conner Lewis stepping into the Operations Manager role. Conner comes to us after serving in the Santa Cruz Mountains as Foreman at Camp Salamander & Camp Double Bear, as well as managing winery properties. He brings experience with road repair, culvert maintenance, along with a background in construction. You may see Conner on his rounds in the neighborhood, or at an upcoming event, such as the RESA Freecycle or brush chipping. Please give him a warm welcome when you see him, or drop him a note at OperationsManager@RedwoodEstates.info!
“Hi everyone, I’m Conner, your new Operations Manager for RESA. I’m excited to join your community and bring my years of hands-on experience working in the mountains, where I’ve spent my time in road clearing during storms and culvert maintenance to keep access even in rough conditions. The work background has given me an appreciation and knowledge for proactive maintenance, quick response on sudden issues, and knowing the challenges of mountain road infrastructure. I’ll work on keeping our roads safe and well-maintained year-round through regular inspections, timely grading and repairs, and clear communication with the community. I’m looking forward to supporting the community in Redwood Estates.”
Sincerely,
Jennifer Throssell
