2024 Director Election
Candidate Blurbs

Jennifer Throssell

It has been an honor and pleasure to serve this community & connect with members over the course of my tenure with the RESA Board of Directors. In the past year, I have helped carry forward movement towards fiscal transparency. We have also made progress towards updating policies & procedures, including adopting a new RESA Rules of Conduct policy. If elected, I plan to continue driving efforts important to the community, including road repairs & fire prevention. Thank you for your consideration.

Yours in community spirit,
Jennifer Throssell

Brian Krupp

Dear Neighbors of Redwood Estates,

My name is Brian Krupp, and I am writing to notify you of my interest in running for a position on the Redwood Estates Services Association Board of Directors.

I have been lucky enough to call Redwood Estates my home for just over three and a half years. In this time, I have come to learn just how connected we all are and proud of where we live. From remaining in my home during the CZU fires and helping others evacuate, to clearing snow last winter allowing residents to access Summit Road, to hosting a Halloween Haunted House for the families of our community; I have gained an abundance of experience as a resident and member of our wonderful mountain community.

As with any appointee that represents a large group of people, I believe that leadership and effective communication starts with listening. Listening to topics and issues driven by not only facts but feelings as well and being able to get to the core concern to find a collective understanding.

During my professional experience as an Engineering Manager, I have deal with numerous complex issues, a skillset that can benefit Redwood Estates. I am straightforward, yet know how to keep things light; I am data-driven, but able to recognize emotions; I am a realist, but also understand and want to promote new ambitions.

With the ever-changing variety of issues we face, I feel confident in my ability to adapt to any challenge, help prioritize, and implement efficient solutions while working together with the other Board Members and all members of the community to make a meaningful impact while serving.

I am passionate about our community and its residents, and I hope to formally contribute more by filling as a seat on the Board of Directors.

Many Thanks,
Brian Krupp
